CRIT Room – Guiding the Future of Architecture Students
Conceived as an online platform to review and critique students’ architectural projects and portfolios, CRIT Room was developed with the intent to guide aspiring architects toward finding the right professional and academic direction. Since its inception in June 2020, CRIT Room has consistently brought together a diverse panel of professionals from across the architecture ecosystem, fostering an environment that encourages dialogue, reflection, and critical thinking.
On September 12, 2021, as part of the 64th NASA Day Celebrations, CRIT Room went live in its first official edition. Conducted via Google Meet at 17:00 hours, the session featured distinguished panelists Sameep Padora and Shubhra Raje, who engaged deeply with the undergraduate thesis projects of four shortlisted students.
This online event was led by Events Head Abinaya RP and National Vice President Tarun Krishna
The initiative’s primary goal is to create a space where young professionals can receive constructive feedback and meaningful guidance — helping them refine their work, build confidence, and chart a clearer path for their future, irrespective of their geographic location. CRIT Room continues to stand as a bridge between students and the professional world, encouraging critical discourse and nurturing a culture of design excellence.
The Shortlisted participants who presented their thesis are as follows:
