First EC–ZC Meeting of the 64th Year | August 2021
The first Executive Council – Zonal Council (EC–ZC) Meeting of the 64th Year of NASA India was held online from 6th to 8th August 2021, adapting to the digital format in light of the ongoing pandemic. Despite the virtual setting, the meeting saw enthusiastic participation from the newly elected Executive Council, six Zonal Presidents, and the Association Advisor, making it a dynamic start to the new term.
The National Secretary officially welcomed all council members, setting the tone for the year ahead. The session began with an orientation, introducing the roles and responsibilities of the council, followed by an interactive Q&A that clarified expectations for the coming term.

Key discussions focused on strengthening the foundation of the Association’s operations. Council members reviewed and refined core association documents and deliberated on critical Articles of the Constitution, aligning them with the evolving needs of the organization. A major highlight was the upgradation of financial operations with improved security systems, ensuring transparency and smoother financial management for the year.

Detailed discussion of job roles and scope of responsibilities for the Executive Council members.
Deliberations on proposed constitutional changes and their implementation.
Review of HQ operations, volunteer selection procedures, and the legal documentation of the Association.
Presentation and archival discussion of the first Constitution, Certificate of Registration, and 12/A documents.
Insights on the ongoing MOUs, along with presentations on compliance with FCRA and registration on the NITI Aayog, NGO Darpan Portal.
Reviews and suggestions on publications and trophies, including ways to enhance their relevance and reach.
Brainstorming on new digital initiatives aimed at increasing interaction and accessibility for students across the country.
Zonal Presidents sharing inputs on NASA Day celebrations, miscellaneous programs, and lessons learned from the previous year.

On the occasion of the 2nd EC–ZC Meeting, held at the NASA India Headquarters, SPA Delhi, we proudly introduce the 64th Year Executive and Zonal Council Members of NASA India. This council will lead the Association through another year of growth, collaboration, and innovation, continuing to strengthen NASA India’s vision of learning, interaction, and engagement for architecture students across the country.

This first EC–ZC meeting not only gave direction to the newly elected council but also fostered a sense of unity, collaboration, and purpose. It marked the beginning of a productive year aimed at strengthening the Association’s vision and creating meaningful opportunities for architecture students across the country.
