The 65th Year Zonal Council Meet of Zone 4 was successfully hosted online through Google Meet on the 30th and 31st of July 2022. Conducted over two days, the meet began each morning at 10:00 a.m. and saw the active participation of Unit Secretaries and Unit Designees from all associated colleges of the zone.

Day 1 of the meeting began with attendance and an introduction session, followed by discussions on the decorum of the conference. The attendees revisited the history and facts of NASA India, while also reflecting on the significance of the Constitution. A detailed understanding of the Association was provided, covering vision and objectives (Articles 2 and 3), governance structure (Article 9), and various legal documents such as the Societies Act, ISO, 12A & 80G, copyright registration for the logo, ISBN, FCRA, and NITI Aayog NGO Darpan. Financial aspects (Articles 20–24), along with a brief discussion on Articles 4–8, were also addressed. Further deliberations included the General Body Meeting (Article 10), job roles of Unit Secretaries and Unit Designees (Article 11), and Articles 12–19. The day concluded with discussions on trophies (Group A and Group B), Reubens, collaborations, and the open “Zero Hour” session.

Day 2 began with further exploration of Articles 25–27, followed by discussions on various events and programs, including conventions, Crit Room, OAN, the Lixil Mentorship Program, GBRI, and summer and winter schools. The review of the 64th year, the announcement of the 65th year’s theme, and the vision for the zone were presented. Unit reports, zonal analysis, and zonal events were discussed, alongside ZNC bids, NASA Day events, and restructuring of the zone. The day also covered the formation of committees, publications, NISF, the website, and concluded once again with an open “Zero Hour.”

The 65th Zonal Council Meet proved to be a well-structured and productive session. Despite being conducted online, it ensured a strong sense of participation and collaboration. The deliberations not only addressed the functioning of the Association but also laid out a clear vision for the 65th year, with units demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to making the year a meaningful success for Zone 4.
